Bill Melanson is Senior Director, Loan Closing Manager with SRS Acquiom. He brings more than 40 years of experience across investment management and post-trade infrastructure in the loan market.

Before joining SRS Acquiom, Bill was a Partner and Head of U.S. at Pantarai, where he focused on operational excellence for clients. Previously he spent 17 years at Oaktree Capital Management as Senior Vice President leading Loan Settlements and Servicing, overseeing settlement of tens of thousands of trades with notional volumes in the hundreds of billions across par and distressed portfolios. Earlier, he was Senior Vice President at Imperial Capital, building the firm's post-trade infrastructure for riskless trading, and held senior operations roles at Trust Company of the West and Hotchkis & Wiley.

Bill has been a driving force behind automation and electronic trade processing across the loan market and has played a pivotal role in Loan Syndications and Trading Association (LSTA) initiatives, including delayed compensation frameworks for primary trades that delivered significant benefits to market participants.
