Mark co-founded SRS Acquiom and is responsible for the company’s corporate development, which includes strategy, innovation, and risk management. For ten years, Mark served as our co-CEO, led the development of our operations, systems and infrastructure and was the catalyst for the development of our payments, escrows, and representations and warranties offerings.

Before SRS Acquiom, Mark was a founder of three venture-backed start-ups in network-based data management, financial and embedded intelligence technology. Prior to these start-ups, he spent over 20 years in financial services, principally at Bank of America. While there, he focused on treasury management, strategy development and the intersection of distributed and online technology into the Bank’s delivery infrastructure. This resulted in Mark leading the effort to create the first online banking service on the Internet and was a member of teams that developed the first corporate data warehouse, the first mortgage-backed securities, and the first interactive trading and trader communications systems.

Mark has an MS in operations research from Stanford University, and a BA in mathematics from Temple University.

Paul is the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of SRS Acquiom. He leads all major functional areas of the company, including Finance, Client Experience, Business Development, Marketing, Operations, and Technology. Under his guidance the company has grown 50% year over year and handles roughly 7% of private-target deal volume across North America.

Before co-founding SRS Acquiom, Paul practiced law at some of the country’s most prestigious law firms. He represented public, venture-backed, and private equity-backed companies in M&A, debt and equity financings, company formations, securities issuance, and compliance.

Paul was one of the founding partners of Koenig & Oelsner, a Denver-based corporate and business law firm with a strong practice in mergers and acquisitions, securities, and financing transactions. Prior to that, he was an attorney in the Chicago office of Latham & Watkins, and in the Colorado office of Cooley LLP.

Paul is a frequent speaker at industry events. He received his BBA in finance from the University of Iowa and graduated from Northwestern University School of Law.

David Golden

David Golden co-leads Revolution Ventures, which invests in and helps build innovative and impactful companies.  David has over three decades of industry experience and brings to bear his extensive history as a financier of emerging growth companies and understanding of capital markets with his unique abilities in negotiation and deal-structuring.  David joined Revolution LLC with Steve Case in 2006 and has since been an investing partner and strategic advisor.

David joined Revolution after 18 years with JPMorgan, and a predecessor firm, Hambrecht & Quist.  During his tenure, David was named co-director of mergers and acquisitions in 1992, director of mergers and acquisitions in 1995, and co-director of investment banking in 1998.  Most recently he was Vice Chairman and Director of JPMorgan’s global investment banking practice for technology, media and telecommunications clients and was a member of the investment bank’s management committee.  During these years, he acted as lead merger advisor, equity underwriter or investor on over 150 transactions.  From 1990 to 1992, David was a vice president at Allen & Company in New York.

In 2010, David helped found Code Advisors, a next-generation investment bank in San Francisco focused on the intersection of strategy and finance for emerging technology companies; and he served as Code’s Executive Chairman through 2012.

Early in his career, David was an associate at the law firm of Davis Polk & Wardwell in New York and London, where he practiced corporate finance and securities law.  Prior to practicing law, David was a law clerk to the Honorable Charles M. Merrill of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.  David received an A.B. from Harvard University (magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa) in 1980 and a J.D. from Harvard Law School (cum laude) in 1983, where he was an editor of the Harvard Law Review.  David currently serves on the boards of Barnes & Noble, Blackbaud, Everyday Health, Busbud and Vinfolio, and he previously served on the boards of Extend Health, Exclusive Resorts, Gaiam and Revolution Money.

Jason Mendelson

Jason has over 15 years of experience in the venture capital and technology industries in a multitude of investing, operational and engineering roles. Prior to co-founding Foundry Group, Jason was a Managing Director and General Counsel for Mobius Venture Capital, where he also acted as its chief administrative partner overseeing all operations of the firm.

During his venture career Jason has been actively involved in serving on boards of portfolio companies and the negotiations and structuring of financings, mergers and exits in the portfolio.

Prior to his involvement with Mobius Venture Capital, Jason was an attorney with Cooley LLP, where he practiced corporate and securities law with an emphasis on representation of emerging companies in private and public financings, mergers and acquisitions. As an attorney, Jason has consummated over $2 billion of venture capital investments, $5 billion in mergers and has extensive experience in fund formation, employment law and general litigation, serving as an expert witness in these related fields.

Before his legal career, Jason was a senior consultant and software engineer at Accenture where he focused on financial institution re-engineering engagements. While at Accenture, Jason supervised programming teams up to forty people in size and was responsible for managing deliverables in multi-billion dollar engagements.

As one of the first full-time, in-house general counsels at a venture capital firm, Jason has been on the forefront of thought leadership and has co-chaired the National Venture Capital Association’s General Counsel group and has been an active participant on the NVCA’s Chief Financial Officer group. He was one of the key draftspersons for the NVCA model document task force which created the industry’s first set of standardized venture capital financing documents, which has greatly aided in the efficiency of completing these types of deals. He served on the board of the NVCA, including as an executive board member, from 2009-2013.

Jason holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, with distinction and a Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from the University of Michigan. Jason is an executive board member at NVCA. He is an active musician playing drums and bass guitar in several bands (including Soul Patch and Legitimate Front with his partner Ryan McIntyre) and enjoys home remodeling and travel. Jason was chosen as one of Denver’s 40 under 40. in business in 2009. Jason blogs about his experiences in the venture industry on his blog Mendelson’s Musings and www.askthevc.com and co-authored the best selling book Venture Deals – be smarter than your lawyer and your venture capitalist.

Heidi Miller

Heidi is an accomplished senior executive in the financial services and international banking industry with experience spanning for more than 30 years.

Prior to retiring in 2012, Heidi was President of JPMorgan International, a division of JPMorgan Chase & Co., where she led the bank's global expansion and international business strategy across the Investment Bank, and Asset Management divisions. For six years prior, she served as Chief Executive Officer of JPMorgan Chase’s Treasury and Security Services, of one of the world’s largest cash management providers, leading 35,000 people in 50 countries.

Heidi began her career at Chemical Bank and has vast experience in the banking, insurance and direct marketing sectors. Her past roles include Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Bank One Corporation (2002 -2004), Senior Executive Vice President of Priceline.com Inc. (2000-2001), Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Citigroup Inc. (1998-2000), and Chief Financial Officer of Travelers Group (1995-1998).

Heidi has an extensive background leading diverse companies and organizations. In addition to her Board seat with SRS Acquiom, she has been a director for General Mills Inc. since 1999, and has served on the board of directors of HSBC, First Data Corporation, and Conservation International. She is also a Trustee of the International Financial Reporting Standards Foundation.

Recognized as one of the top women in American finance, Heidi was featured in American Banker’s Most Powerful Women, ranked number one on the banking list for several years, and achieved the Crain’s list title of “50 Most Powerful Women in New York” as well as Fortune’s “Top 50 Women in Banking” and Forbes, “100 Most Powerful Women.”

She graduated from Princeton University with a bachelor’s degree in history and completed her doctorate in Latin American history at Yale University in 1979.

Stuart has spent over 30 years in leadership roles in the financial services industry, specifically focused on sales and client service. Before SRS Acquiom, he acted as an investor or senior executive for several early-stage companies in the fintech and financial services sectors, helping them achieve new milestones and increase growth. Prior to that, he spent 20 years at Bloomberg LP in sales and global manager roles, including 10 years building and growing the European office while managing a 200-person sales team.

Stuart received his BA from Dartmouth College.

Nicole is the chief marketing officer at SRS Acquiom. An accomplished marketing strategist, Nicole is responsible for leading the company’s marketing and communications efforts, including brand strategy, market research, thought leadership, demand generation, public relations and product marketing to support business growth.

Before joining SRS Acquiom, Nicole served as the vice president, global corporate marketing for First Data, where she led brand management, creative services, and content functions globally. She was the lead marketing strategist supporting First Data’s 2015 $2.8 billion IPO.

Nicole brings over 20 years’ experience driving revenue in the B2B and B2C sectors. She has led large-scale brand growth, market research, and product innovation initiatives for clients in the Fortune 500 as well as entrepreneurial organizations. Her clients have included PepsiCo, Heinz, Unilever, Kraft, Rubbermaid, and Kellogg’s.

Nicole sits on the board of the William C. Kuzell Foundation for multiple sclerosis research. She is a former board member of the Dumb Friends League, the largest animal welfare organization in the Rocky Mountain region. She holds an MBA from the University of Denver, and a BA from Vanderbilt University.

Prior to SRS Acquiom, Ray practiced law at a number of the country's most prestigious law firms, including Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom and Simpson Thacher & Bartlett. He also worked in the legal department at Google Inc.  Ray has extensive experience handling a wide variety of sophisticated legal issues, including highly complex financial and M&A-related matters. He is an accomplished negotiator and has resolved hundreds of disputes through both litigation and alternative dispute resolution.

Ray is a past board member of Dragon 5280 Inc. and the Korean Academy of Colorado. He holds a JD from Columbia Law School, an MA from Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs, and a BA in government from Claremont McKenna College.

Steve is the Chief Information Officer for SRS Acquiom. As an accomplished business and technology architect, he leads our technology efforts and is driving the evolution of innovative platforms and processes to keep us a market leader in product and technology.

Prior to joining SRS Acquiom and for nine years, Steve served as President and CTO for RelevanceLogic, an innovative startup in the social discovery and big data space. Under his leadership, the company helped customers find insight in social dialog, and he produced the product strategy, breakthrough discovery platform and services delivery model.

The totality of Steve’s extensive career spans High Tech, Communications and Aerospace/Defense industries for various start-up ventures and Fortune 500 companies including, CenturyLink, IHSMarkit and Accenture. In his earlier career, Steve held a wide array of positions leading strategic planning, global IT divisions, and as CFO. While decreasing overall expenses, his work focused on driving improvements in operations, software development, and financial management.

Steve has volunteered in numerous leadership roles with the Boy Scouts of America. He is a CPA and holds multiple technical certifications. He earned his BS in Business Administration/Accounting from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.

He has 30 years of experience in technology development, intellectual property creation, and engineering management. He is chief architect behind the patented method of our latest escrow solutions.

Glenn worked as a consultant with a global roster of top companies to develop innovative solutions in systems architecture, data visualization and interpretation, and business intelligence. He began as a research scientist at Schlumberger, Ltd., and then moved into web-based collaboration and e-commerce, providing strategy, design, and development services for some of the earliest online sites. He served as HP-VeriFone’s first Director of Software Systems Architecture, where he was responsible for Internet-based payments products, and as VP Engineering at Encirq Corporation, a privacy-enhanced targeted marketing company.

Glenn holds BS and MS degrees from MIT in electrical engineering and computer science, and a PhD in artificial intelligence from Sussex University. He holds over 20 issued U.S. patents.

Chris is the Managing Director of our Professional Services team. He has deep expertise in shareholder representation.  Chris and his team manage post-closing escrow claims, earnouts, purchase price adjustments and disputes. His team also manages the process by which post-closing merger proceeds are distributed to shareholders and other activities related to serving as shareholder representative.

Before joining SRS Acquiom, Chris practiced corporate law in the Colorado office of Cooley LLP, where he focused on venture capital transactions and mergers and acquisitions. He began his legal career at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP in New York City. At Cravath, he primarily represented underwriters in initial public offerings and high-yield debt offerings and lenders in commercial banking transactions.

Chris is a frequent contributor to M&A thought leadership via work on SRS Acquiom’s data studies, articles and speaking presentations. Chris holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a B.A. from Rice University.

Before joining SRS Acquiom in 2012, Eric's career spanned several unique roles, including CFO of Tennyson Center for Children, one of Colorado's oldest nonprofits. Additionally, Eric was co-founder and partner in a contract packaging and fulfillment business, and practiced corporate law at firms including Hogan Lovells, Arnold & Porter, and a few smaller firms in the Denver area.

Eric received a JD from the University of Denver School of Law, an MBA from the University of Colorado at Denver and a BS in Business from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

She has over 40 years of experience in the financial services industry and has extensive background in payments, product development, relationship management and operations. Prior to joining the SRS Acquiom team, Sue was Vice President in the First Data Financial Services Product Management. She has developed products and consulted with top tier financial institutions (Citibank, Wells Fargo, PNC, Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch) and a host of Community Banks enabling them to outsource back office services. Sue also worked on a variety of M&A initiatives while at First Data. Throughout her career she has led many product start-up and reengineering initiatives and has been awarded several patents.

Jason is a Senior Director of Operations. He oversees the Shareholder Representative operation teams that manage the Shareholder data related to each merger in our system, reconcile all the bank accounts for shareholder rep and payments business lines, as well as manage the release of funds to shareholders.

Before joining SRS Acquiom, Jason was an AVP in Distribution Operations at Oppenheimer Funds, Inc. He managed the team responsible for sale reporting and sales based compensation calculations. Before that, Jason was Senior Manager of Operations at Charles Schwab Inc., where he managed multiple mutual fund operations teams responsible for reconciliations (share and cash), trading, transfers and dividends.

Jason graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver with a BS in Aerospace Science and minor in Mathematics. He holds the FINRA Series 27 license, is a notary, and licensed Realtor.

Prior to joining SRS Acquiom, Michael served as Senior Director of Product Management for Polycom where he was responsible for the company's global software product strategy. Michael brings over 20 years of executive product management experience in the software, SaaS and professional services space. He has previously held executive product roles at Avaya, FrontRange Solutions, American Fundware, Datria, and others.

Michael holds a BS in Business Administration in Finance from the University of Denver as well as multiple technical certifications and industry awards.

Sam helps identify ways that SRS Acquiom can be helpful with shareholder representation services, escrow & payment administration and other post-closing matters.

Prior to joining SRS Acquiom, Sam was a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions department of law firm Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP. He represented acquirers, targets, sellers, shareholder groups, equity investors and others in complex domestic and cross-border public and private M&A transactions. Prior to his legal career, Sam was a sell-side equity research analyst at Credit Suisse Group, focusing on the energy and utilities sector, where he developed and maintained sophisticated financial models and conducted fundamental research to support the bank’s investment outlook. Previous to this experience, Sam was a financial analyst at Duke Energy and a tax accountant at Arthur Andersen.

Sam received his law degree from Columbia Law School, where he was an editor of the Columbia Business Law Review, and a B.S. in Finance (with a minor in Accounting) from Oklahoma State University. Sam has also completed CFA Level 1.

Matthew is the Executive Director, Indemnification Solutions for SRS Acquiom. He leads our insurance business, including our Representations and Warranty Insurance (RWI) brokerage business, and advises clients on the various ways M&A indemnification obligations can be collateralized. He also works with our business development, product, operations and marketing teams to grow our insurance capabilities and expand our indemnification solution offerings.

Before joining SRS Acquiom, Matthew was Vice President, Underwriting Leader at QBE, responsible for quoting and underwriting transactional insurance, and he spent over 15 years with AIG’s legal department, rising to the level of Deputy General Counsel, Casualty. As the first in-house attorney for AIG’s M&A Insurance Group, he helped draft several of the earliest RWI policy forms and participated in client meetings and speaking engagements to raise awareness and understanding of Transactional Insurance products.

Matthew started his career as a corporate attorney in New York with Rosenman & Colin (now Katten Muchin Rosenman) and graduated from Georgetown University Law Center and the University of Florida. He holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) insurance designation and is a Licensed Property and Casualty Agent.

Debbie is the Chief Financial Officer for SRS Acquiom. As an accomplished financial strategist, she leads finance and administration efforts and oversees human resources.

Before joining SRS Acquiom, Debbie served as CFO and CSO of Trust Company of America Inc. She focused on creating new revenue streams, repositioning the investment portfolio to reduce risk and enhance returns and reduced risk in the operational platform; she managed over $1.5 billion in assets. As CFO and EVP of Vectra Bank Colorado, NA, from 2002 to 2014, Debbie oversaw all aspects of improving bank performance, including evaluating operations, managing the asset and liability position of the bank to improve net interest income and repositioning the branch network through a series of sales and redevelopment efforts to upgrade facilities while reducing capital investment.

Deborah has served as Chairman of the board of the Children’s Museum of Denver and as a board member of the Downtown Denver Partnership Inc. In 2008, she received the Denver Business Journal’s CFO of the Year for Large Private Companies award. She is a CPA and earned her MBA from New York University. She has a BS in Business Administration from the University of Colorado, Leeds School of Business in Boulder, CO.

Stuart is the executive director for enterprise sales at SRS Acquiom. In this role, he helps set strategic parameters around a suite of products designed for SRS Acquiom’s most sophisticated clients, including many attorneys, private equity firms, and strategic buyers.

Stuart has spent over 30 years in leadership roles in the financial services industry, specifically focused on sales and client service. Before SRS Acquiom, he acted as an investor or senior executive for several early-stage companies in the fintech and financial services sectors, helping them achieve new milestones and increase growth. Prior to that, he spent 20 years at Bloomberg LP in sales and global manager roles, including 10 years building and growing the European office while managing a 200-person sales team.

Daren was responsible for corporate escrow opportunities at NES Financial, specializing in EB-5 escrow administration services. He was also instrumental in launching and managing JPMorgan’s West Coast Escrow Services Group, establishing it as one of the largest providers of M&A-related payment and escrow services on the west coast. Prior to that he managed both municipal and corporate trust groups at The Bank of New York.

Daren received his Executive MBA from the University of Southern California and his BA from Pepperdine University.

Previously, Marc was a Vice President for J.P Morgan Asset Management in San Francisco, where he was responsible for providing short term fixed income solutions to corporations and public entities. As a Client Advisor, he ultimately managed $4.6 billion in assets, gaining new sales of $900 million in 2015. Marc cultivated global relationships between US, EMEA and Asia to promote investment solutions across multiple currencies. He also has experience as a product specialist for the J.P. Morgan Corporate and Investment Banks’ capital markets desk pertaining to Investment Management solutions.

As a trust and securities services expert for over 18 years, Luda and has been involved in M&A transactions for most of her professional career and has built a solid reputation as one of the most knowledgeable and responsive M&A escrow and paying agent specialists on the West Coast. Luda has worked extensively with both large corporate clients and top law firms, exceeding the needs of clients in escrow and paying work.

Before joining SRS Acquiom, Matthew was Vice President, Underwriting Leader at QBE, responsible for quoting and underwriting transactional insurance, and he spent over 15 years with AIG’s legal department, rising to the level of Deputy General Counsel, Casualty. As the first in-house attorney for AIG’s M&A Insurance Group, he helped draft several of the earliest RWI policy forms and participated in client meetings and speaking engagements to raise awareness and understanding of Transactional Insurance products.

Matthew started his career as a corporate attorney in New York with Rosenman & Colin (now Katten Muchin Rosenman) and graduated from Georgetown University Law Center and the University of Florida. He holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) insurance designation and is a Licensed Property and Casualty Agent.

Fiona has the primary responsibility for ensuring that the post-closing obligations and responsibilities of SRS Acquiom are conducted in accordance with the governing agreement. Specifically, Fiona works directly with the Operations, Payments and Post-Closing Dispute Management teams on a wide array of matters that arise during the term of SRS Acquiom’s engagement. Fiona works closely with members of the Advisory Committee to ensure that the post-closing process is navigated as easily as possible.

Additionally, Fiona acts as a subject matter expert for the Marketing, and Corporate and Product Development teams to ensure that the needs and issues that arise before, during and after a transaction are best being addressed.

Before joining SRS Acquiom, Fiona worked at the Colorado Department of Transportation (”CDOT”) drafting various statutory revisions under APA guidelines. Prior to CDOT, Fiona worked for the Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing researching various state and federal legislations affected by the Affordable Care Act.

Fiona has served as an Advisory Committee member for the town of Superior, Colorado, as well as a Legal Advocate for Family Tree LLC. Fiona holds a BA from Pitzer College and a JD from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

He also served as an appellate advocate in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals during his tenure as an AUSA. Before that, Tim was a litigation associate at Paul Hastings LLP. While at Paul Hastings, Tim conducted internal investigations for large corporations, represented executives in white collar investigations, and handled a variety of complex antitrust matters.

He began his legal career at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP in New York City. At Cravath, he primarily represented underwriters in initial public offerings and high-yield debt offerings and lenders in commercial banking transactions.

Sara is a certified mediator and has mediated disputes through community organizations and court referrals. While in private practice, she also received awards for her commitment to pro bono representation.

In 2015, The M&A Advisor named Sara one of its Emerging Leaders in M&A. Sara earned her J.D. from Columbia University School of Law and a B.A. in communication studies from California State University, Long Beach.

Previous to this experience, Sam was a financial analyst at Duke Energy and a tax accountant at Arthur Andersen.

Alex has broad experience in M&A and provides guidance on resolving post-closing issues, including matters related to earn-out mechanics, holdbacks and purchase price adjustments.

Before joining SRS Acquiom, Alex practiced M&A at Kirkland & Ellis LLP and Perkins Coie LLP. He represented private equity funds and their portfolio companies in domestic and cross-border stock and asset acquisitions, debt and equity financings, and general corporate matters. Prior to beginning his legal career, he was an instructor of Spanish linguistics at the University of Northern Iowa.

Alex received his JD from Harvard Law School, a master’s degree from the University of Oxford, and a BA from the University of Northern Iowa. Alex is a member of the Colorado and Illinois Bars.

Radha is a Senior Director at SRS Acquiom, working with clients and their counsel on matters that arise prior to closing, including finalizing the acquisition agreement and related transaction documentation, negotiating SRS Acquiom’s engagement and facilitating the closing process in complex M&A transactions. Radha leverages her transactional experience to advise clients on structuring purchase price adjustment, indemnification and earnout provisions as well as documenting M&A payments and escrow mechanics.

Prior to joining SRS Acquiom, Radha was an associate in the M&A, Corporate and Securities Law group of Norton Rose Fulbright LLP in Toronto. She represented public and private companies, and financial services firms and private equity funds in domestic and cross-border stock and asset acquisitions, corporate finance transactions, complex securities law and general corporate matters. Radha was recently recognized in the Service Professional category of The M&A Advisor’s 7th Annual 40 Under 40 Emerging Leaders Awards.

Radha received a JD from the University of Western Ontario Faculty of Law, an HBA in Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business, and is a member of the New York Bar and Law Society of Upper Canada.

Kip Wallen is an Associate Attorney with SRS Acquiom. He collaborates with clients and counsel to negotiate M&A documents including purchase, escrow, payments and other transactional agreements. Kip has broad experience in M&A and provides guidance on market standards pertaining to a wide variety of matters including earn-outs, holdbacks, escrows, expense funds, and purchase price adjustments.

Before joining SRS Acquiom, Kip was an attorney with a Denver-based boutique business law firm. He assisted clients with M&A transactions totaling over $1 billion in value as well as general corporate governance, securities offerings, compliance and real estate matters.

Kip is an avid supporter of the Colorado Symphony Orchestra, serving on the Associate Board, and the Colorado Rockies. In 2016, he participated in Leadership 20 with the Denver chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth.

Kip received his JD from the Sturm College of Law at the University of Denver and an MS in Economics, BS in Economics and BA in International Relations from Lehigh University. He is a member of the Colorado bar.
